Their 2022 album “Close” was my number 1 pick of the year. Excellent mix of heavy and slow songs, with soaring belting vocals. There is so much emotion in each piece of music. It has a middle eastern tone that I like. Throw in some jazzy saxaphones too.
This band has such an unusual sound. The thundering bass and drums can hit you like a 10 ton truck. But the heaviness is balanced by light vocals, spacey sounds, lasers, xylophones and generally ethereal accents. Also many unusual and off-key sounding scales are used but for some reason it all works! This is truely one of the most unique bands and I can’t get enough of them. Also, 10 minute songs are the norm here!
